What Happens at MommyCon STAYS at MommyCon…
On January 4th, I shall be speaking at MommyCon Mini in Las Vegas. I haven’t been to Vegas in a couple years, and I am excited to go see Sin City again—and bring baby gear knowledge with me.
I’m TOTALLY ripping this from the MommyCon website—partly because I’ve been on this computer for 2 weeks running a contest and I am fried, partly because they state what MommyCon is as well as I could.
“MommyCon is a boutique style convention dedicated to bringing modern moms and moms-to-be together. Our focus is on natural parenting methods and timeless tidbits as we journey through motherhood together. Whether you are single mom, working, stay at home, birth mom, or even a dad everyone is welcome at our convention.
MommyCon Mini will be held on January 4, 2013 at The Flamingo Hotel & Casino in beautiful Las Vegas, Nevada. The all day event will be an exclusive preview of MommyCon 2014 with workshops, seminars and exhibits of the best products for the modern mom. Our seminars will focus on natural parenting methods including; obtaining the birth you desire, babywearing for all levels, breastfeeding at all stages and sleep solutions that really work. Each attendee will go home with a gift bag stuffed with products from our sponsors.”
I’ll be presenting there on baby gear, and doing a Q&A for attendees, Jessica over at The Leaky Boob will be there doing a presentation on parenting and breastfeeding, and I cannot wait to meet a few of you there (that will make up for not seeing Celine this trip). I am VERY excited to work with the ladies over at TheMommyDialogues and see just what they’re up to!!!

Oh this would be awesome. I can drive to Vegas from The mountains of Cali. Either with my son or without. It’s alwas interesting to see husband’s reaction when I say I’m leaving him for a day or two with the toddler.

In all honesty, if I win this contest I will be giving these tickets to my “know-it-all” brother to take him and his wife to this because they are having their first baby (lil Brooklyn) and I think this little Mini Mommy-Con would teach them soo much in just one day!
