Sneak Peek: The Phil & Teds PROMENADE

Sneak Peek: The Phil & Teds PROMENADE

Don’t let the mannequins scare you away! This stroller is actually kind of cool. Phil & Teds is known as the company that began the in-line buggy movement, and they still dominate that market. Their buggies are a utility and a necessity for many parents who need a double and either don’t want the extra bulk of a side-by-side or want something a bit sportier. Well, kick sporty out the window, because the Promenade by Phil & Teds is their classiest stroller to date.

With a sleek aluminum frame and a four-wheel design, this is a really sexy single stroller. The seat is easy to recline and has a terrific canopy and swiveling belly bar. The footrest is also adjustable, which is key—AND really sets this particular stroller apart from others on the market because the seat actually converts to a lie-flat bassinet. As far as I know, this is the only stroller on the American market that is a converting seat with an adjustable foot rest. Score. If this company has figured it out, I do wish a certain other stroller dominating the market would. Airless tires, a smoothly-adjusting handlebar, reversible seat and a really easy one-piece fold finish out the single.

It wouldn’t be Phil & Teds without a Doubles Kit. The additional seat also has a smooth, one-handed recline, sun canopy, and also converts to a bassinet (although the foot rest is not adjustable—something I suggested for other reasons to the P&T team). The Double Kit also needs to be removed to fold the Promenade, but it’s really easy to do so (and cuts down on some of the weight—there ARE plus sides to a two-piece fold).

There are 8 possible seating arrangements with the promenade, and it is also car seat compatible (brands to be announced later).  Both seats have a weight capacity of 33 pounds, and the stroller is 25 inches wide.  It’s on the heavier side of singles at 28lbs, and 35 as a double is totally ok.  But, that weight makes it a tank and very sturdy.  A sturdy, SEXY, tank…kind of like Xena:  Warrior Princess (I might add she is ALSO from New Zealand).

The Promenade is sure to be a hit with parents wanting a very sleek design, multiple seating arrangements and terrific maneuverability.

The Promenade retails for $849.99 with a $149.99 Double Kit and is available in November.

I’ll have a FULL review once it’s launched full of more images and details–just not drinking mannequins.

BTW: November is my birthday month. I’ll be 33. I expect gifts ;)

UPDATE!!!!

Well, I have the Promenade in my apartment.  After a thorough trip about NYC, I have to say this is a great stroller.  It’s quite smooth, and the seats are actually terrific.  The zip-out sun canopy is a killer, and the handlebar extends VERY far out—which actually makes bumping it up and down curbs easier.  The handle also telescopes down very far, which makes it a plus for public transit and elevators!!!  I was able to spin it a complete 360 in a closed elevator in a New York Public Library.  The undercarriage basket is gigantic and actually held diaper bags, grocery bags, and library books all at the same time.  It’s not a “lightweight” stroller, but the Promenade is not pretending to be.  It’s weight is not really an issue when pushing it uphill due to sturdy wheels.  While we’re discussing the wheels, they do get dirty like any other stroller wheels, so just don’t push a dirty stroller around your house.  Come on.  That’s nasty.  The fold is absolutely terrific and incredibly easy, I just wish it would fold with the second seat attached.  I’ve not many problems with this stroller.  Nope.  Rest assured, this Prom will not give you an embarrassment of CARRIE proportions.

AND YOU HAVE A CHANCE TO WIN IT!!!! This stroller, including the double kit, has a retail of nearly $1,000.  GET ON IT!!  Did I mention it’s open to USA and Canada??  HUZZAH!!!!!  Contest begins on October 26th and ends at Midnight on November 9th.  Good luck!!!

    Hi,
I think you posted that you saw the dot at the same release expo as the promenade. Do you know the release date of the dot at all?
    Thanks

    Sarah

  • Jessica says:

Is it correct that each seat holds only 33 lbs.? Does that seem a little low compared to the other strollers on the market with similar features, like UPPABaby, City Select, even other Phil and Ted’s?

  • Jess says:

Awesome giveaway! Don’t even have a second yet but would love to win it for when I do! Btw, attended prom, not with the love of my life and no embarrassing story! Sorry kind of boring!

  • ErikaC says:

I love my Phil and Teds stroller. This one sounds like they’ve fixed some of the things I like less about it, like the turning radius. Looks great too!

  • Claire says:

I went to prom twice, Fun times. I’d love to win this stroller!

  • Nelly R. says:

Sadly, I missed mine. :( Still bums me out. I was supposed to graduate 1/2 a year later than I did and missed all the sign up/fee deadlines as a result. So wish I had attended. You can cheer me up by picking me to win this super stroller! :D

  • liz says:

I am married to my prom date! we have 3 lovely children

  • Lauren says:

my senior prom itself was pretty pitiful. I went w a friends boyfriend (and she went w a friend of ours- we were seniors and they were juniors and we all ‘wanted’ to go to the dinner together). So I basically didn’t have a date. fun. BUT a small group of us got to go to Disney World (our senior trip) a few days early and we left that night! So that was fun. the rest- meh.

  • Laura R. says:

Yep, went to 4 proms, thanks to dating an older boy my sophomore year and two in one year because I went with a friend who attended a different school. Embarrassing moments: have you looked back at prom pics from the 90s? Those dresses! Embarrassing!

  • Tirzah says:

I went to FOUR proms! But….for “my” actual prom I rode there in style….we took a helicopter! ;) seriously. ;)

  • Autumn says:

Went with my highschool sweet heart and then dated and married him 5 years later! We now have one firecracker of a two year old little lady and another on the way!

  • Aviva R says:

    I didn’t have a senior prom. I went to an all-girls religious school :)

  • Vanessa Peterson says:

I went to prom, and I was prom queen… My graduating class was only 30 people, so it wasn’t a totally impressive event. I think there were 10 girls.

  • Chani M says:

Religious all girls school = no prom for me!

  • Christina says:

Would LOVE this stroller! Im dying for a new one, since my ancient Graco is about to end up in a lake. ;-)

  • Christina says:

Forgot to mention that NO, I did not attend my prom :’(

  • Aura says:

watched lots of shows about proms but never went to one, attended an all girl religious school

I’d love to win this stroller!
and I went to prom 3 times, all with my highschool sweetheart and hubby :)

  • jen says:

I went to school in the UK where we didn’t have proms :-(

  • Hyatt says:

I didn’t go to my proms, but I took quite a few ladies to their proms. I was the go-to date for the friends of my friends’ girlfriends that went to other schools.

  • Kendra says:

I went to prom with my high school sweetheart. We had a great time. No Carrie moments!

  • Liz says:

I went to both my proms in HS and they both sucked! The senior prom was the worst because I tried to have a post prom party but it got busted by my mom. It was the worst.

  • Danielle says:

I went with one of my best friends. I wore an ivory ballgown wedding dress and he wore ivory tails. We were pretty awesome. Lol

  • amy pugmire says:

Ha ha! I did attend prom at my high school I attended in Utah. No scary stories. went with a nice guy, not attracted to him but it was fun!

  • Meghan says:

I was lame and didn’t go to prom

  • Jill boysen says:

My prom date stood me up..I stayed home alone in my dress all night…jerk!

  • Brooke Thomas says:

went to prom… but no crazy stories.

  • I did not actually attend my prom, surprise! Probably the only person who comments who did not! Frankly I just wasn’t interested in the big party with lots of people I had very little in common with as a foreigner.

  • Jennifer Emanuel says:

I went to prom, nothing eventful happened, ut I want that stroller!

  • Brooke says:

I went to prom with my high school sweetheart. The only drama was my hair which was hideous so my friends redid it after we left the salon. I was too shy to say anything to the stylist!

  • Courtney says:

Hah! I was actually head of the prom committee, and people called me ‘Carrie’ because I had long blonde hair parted in the middle and I was quiet. The prom itself was kind of boring, but afterward we went for carriage rides around the park and the next morning my friends and I all went to the beach to celebrate high school really and truly being over!

  • Sara Carr says:

I attended both my junior and senior prom. I definitely did not meet the love of my life at either but I did have a lot of fun.

  • Leigh says:

Canadian so we went to “Safe Grad” where we could drink but in absolutely no way drive (we had to be checked out of the ballroom by our parents). Went with my high school ex-boyfriend (who is now a girl) but spent most of the time with my new boyfriend (who is now my husband and the reason I need a double stroller)

  • Laura R says:

While at dinner before prom, the glass (of water)broke inside my date’s mouth leaving him a bloody mess…a tough start but a nice prom night.

  • souphead says:

no, i didn’t go to prom. i GED’d out junior year and went to college. i was depressed about it then, but (i think) i’m over it now :)

  • jeannine m says:

I went to my prom, made out in the limo, evantually got engaged to guy after high school, caught him cheating and dumped him lol

  • Tara says:

I went to senior prom when I was a junior because all my friends were seniors and it was pretty uneventful lol… Pretty much the whole time I stood in line to get our pictures taken! Dinner sucked, music sucked and the expensive stretch escalade was less then nice and cost a ton lol soooo pretty much prom sucked!!!

  • Suzanne B says:

I did go to my prom, but it was a casual costume party. My boyfriend and I went as Peg and Al Bundy! Not exactly the pics you want to look back on 10 years later…

  • Katie says:

    I want this…. PLEASE

  • valarie says:

I didn’t go. I proclaimed far and wide that I didn’t like anyone well enough to spend that much money on a dress and all that. but really, I was afraid no one would ask me.

  • Kallee Valentine says:

I had the best prom date ever! He was a long haired rocker who dropped out of school. Funny thing was that he was the smartest guy in our class and has gone on to write math books and teach. Too bad that I was too scared to kiss him. Luckily we are still great friends but I will always remember that I miss my chance.

  • Kara Figueroa says:

I went to both my Junior and Senior proms with the same guy…my boyfriend at the time and NO he was NOT the love of my life!! I almost went to prom as a sophomore as well but my date got suspended for having beer in his trunk….oh, I sure knew how to pick them! So glad my husband is not a reflection to the guys I dated in high school!

  • My prom date was a total douche. Looking back on it, I’m not sure why I was so intent on going, but I suppose it’s one of those rites of passages you just have to experience! If it gets me this awesome stroller, I guess it was all worth it! ;)

  • Laura says:

I attended my senior prom with my best girl-friend. I told her that if she didn’t get asked I would go with her. She did not get asked and I didn’t really “like” anyone… So I went with my friend. We had a ton of fun and got quite a few looks when asked who our date was… especially since I was a prom queen nominee. Oh well :)

  • nici says:

I married my prom date! Now we have a 6 week old and a 4 month old niece we watch all the time. So this would be perfect! I love that it has so much storage underneath!

  • Went to prom my sophmore year 1996. Wore a very 90′s Jessica Mclintock….Hilarious dress!

  • Dee says:

I went to my senior prom with a bunch of girlfriends and had a blast. Plus, the guy who liked me, but took someone else, spent the whole night with me!

  • Oopsie forgot to put link to my pin in create your own task!

  • fritter says:

Oh lord. I went to three of them. The first, I was going a virgin but my ‘boyfriend’ had other plans. What a schmuck- the second- my date was high on acid the entire time. Including pictures at my parents’ home. The third I went with a guy who was expelled the year before. It’s amazing I remember all fondly.

  • Jes L says:

Good times: my long term boyfriend passed away my senior year, but I still wanted to go even though I wasn’t interested in anything remotely romantic. I asked a co-worker at my mall job to escort me. He said yes, feeling bad for me, then avoided me for a month or so. I finally confronted him and he was kind enough to share that he’d been avoiding me because he “didn’t find me physically attractive.” uh, thanks for the info buddy. Now, what color tie are you wearing?

  • bellissima29dc says:

On the way to my senior prom, our limo got pulled over by the cops because my date was standing on the seats with his head out the sunroof. Apparently that is (was, maybe it’s legal now) frowned upon by the state of Massachusetts. Fortunately for my summer, we didn’t get a ticket or get arrested. We had a great time at the party, though!

  • I missed my prom. My date and I were all dressed up and went out to eat with 2 other couples. Turns out the couple we rode with did not have tickets to the prom and had no intentions of going… Granted we had fun anyways and went to a party instead, I am still bummed to this day about missing my prom. I wish I could have experienced even 5 minutes, at my prom but I didn’t. Still to this day though, my parents think I went! I do laugh back at it though. :)

  • Niki says:

Nope, I did not attend prom. I was very punk and very anti school functions at that time.

  • Laura says:

I went with one of my closest guy friends. That time we realized we liked one another. We dated the rest of the year and summer. It was an awesome night filled with fun memories. I am so glad I went with someone I could joke around with!

  • ShannonR says:

I didn’t go to my prom. I had no need to hang out with those beotches! Haha

  • Rebekah C says:

My best friend invited her out of town boyfriend to the prom and then decided to break up with him, AT THE PROM! But he didn’t have a ticket to go home until the next day and nowhere else to stay except with her. So I had to be the barrier at prom and after to keep him away from her. He was devastated and kept begging her to take him back. Since I didn’t have a prom date, she just assumed that I made the perfect shield. It was truly awful.

  • Ashley Capps says:

I was nominated for some sort of Most Likely To End Up in the Movies award or something. I lost. That’s about the way of it! I danced all night, though!

  • The only thing about Prom I liked was my dress. The room was SO hot, with a very low ceiling and I remember everyone sweating a ton. We all looked like we were melting! I was just excited to get through Prom so we could be done with High School and of to college. That’s where the REAL fun began!

  • AmyH says:

I went to prom twice! My junior year, Prom was right after I got back from months in Germany as an exchange student, where of course I ate (and drank!) like crazy. I could barely fit into my dress. When our dates stopped at a gas station, my BFF unzipped me so I could breathe. As you can guess, it was not as easy to zip back up and I had to get out of the car in the parking lot AND my date had to help my BFF zip me back in. Ah, memories…

  • Janna Weinstein says:

Someone spilled a red drink on my white dress. It was the end of the evening so it really wasn’t such a big deal… but I was still mortified.

  • crystal Obrien says:

I did go to my prom it was great!!!

  • Maureen Modic says:

Ah, well, i had a fabulous pink dress! But otherwise, I went with a male friend of mine that refused to dance with me. So it was a girls night…and it was fun!

  • laura v says:

I went to two proms because my BF went to a different school than me. Nothing interesting, but I got two dresses!

    • Jamie Grayson says:

thanks, but don’t forget to do the MANDATORY entry first!!! if you don’t do that, i cannot count this!!!

  • betty baez says:

unfortunately i didnt attend my prom :( no stories sorry

  • Sandy Farnsworth says:

I went to my boyfriend’s prom and wound up marrying his best friend!

  • Lillian DeAngelo says:

I did go to my prom. I hated it. I hated my dress too. WIsh I could do it again!

  • Lisa G says:

Yes I went to my prom and it was a night to remember, but not for anything good. LOL My date broke my camera half way through the night and there was no such thing as digital cameras back then.

I’d love to win this PROM stroller! Awesome too that this giveaway is open to CANADA too!!! :)

  • arely colin says:

    i didnt go to prom

  • Erin says:

Ah, Prom….all girls catholic high school, so pretty tame as to not risk having a conference with Sister Martha!

CAn’t wait to see this stroller out and about in the city.

  • daniel parker says:

Yeah, I went to my prom. I went tk a really small school. There were like 40 people at my prom. We did an island theme. I had a lot of fun making palm trees out of old carpet roll tubes. It was kinda cheap and cheesey, but it was a lot of fun. Definitely a night to remember.

  • Jamie Parker says:

I did go to my prom! Again, I’d really love to see this item go to a place where it can make a difference, as a lending closet item at a womens shelter or at a hospital. This could make such an impact in families lives and provide independence to people who can’t afford anything!!!

  • stacy h says:

My hubs was at my prom but we weren’t dating =) No Carrie experiences, thankfully. In fact, I was the chick that went with the foreign exchange students. Oh yeah. Totally cool. Though I will say still take joy in the fact that A. I looked killer in my senior dress(even had the teachers talking) and B. Can still fit into said dress while most of my class cannot ;0)
    I’m so mean.

  • Ann stucki says:

No prom horror, but I do have a great photo I took with a wide angle lens where I am more forward than my friends and I look about seven feet tall.

  • Tam says:

I went to HS PROM 4 times, either I was popular or super loose, or maybe those things are not mutually exclusive? I always bought my dresses on the sale rack and did my own hair and nails. I also went to the tanning bed enough during the months leading up to those four dances to require a melatonin intervention. Like now.

This stroller looks awesome, I totes dig it.

  • Suzanne Lafreniere says:

Prom was fun and afterwards we went on a boat tour around NYC.

  • I missed my prom. With graduating early I only really had the chance to go to one and the day of prom I was in a horrible car accident (VW Bug vs City Bus, bus won by a landslide) and was still in the hospital when prom ended. My friends came by with flowers and my dress and promised dinner later when I got out and could wear heels again. I pretty much cried a lot.

  • Deborah says:

At prom my junior year, I was the only one with a curfew, the limo dropped me off while everyone else went off to party.

  • Janelle Clark says:

yes there is a homeschool prom, but i chose not to attend – and no, i don’t regret that choice at all. more recently i have not-so-good memories of prom nights, working as an EMT…some nasty wrecks :(

  • Sol says:

Prom was great or so I heard. I planned it but was grounded and couldn’t go. Or After Party was great though.

  • Jade says:

We didn’t have prom where I grew up, but we did have other dances. My grad dance was memorable, what I remember of it!

  • Jamee says:

Love it! I went to both my Jr and Sr prom with my now husband!

  • Cassandra kraemer says:

I went to my junior prom had a blast. But opted out of my senior prom because it was in a cafeteria. I went to Les Miz instead

  • lani says:

Went to prom! thought i went with the love of my life. turn out he wasnt. i was almost prom queen! i was in the court!

  • Rebecca R. says:

I didn’t get to attend my own PROM. I did attend PROM as a freshman with my senior boyfriend. It was magical!

  • Laura says:

Did not attend the prom, but I attended the post prom party. It was a lock-in at the local bowling alley and a lot of fun.

  • Erin says:

Prom was only so-so but I did get with my now husband, so that’s pretty awesome!

  • Kelly says:

I went to prom with my now husband! We only stayed at actual prom for about an hour, then went to Denny’s, then the Safehouse, a late night coffee shop that didn’t report underage smoking haha!

  • Jess Herman says:

We were too cool for prom, so we had an anti prom. Went out to dinner then up to Niagara falls for fun. Ended the night in the ER when my friend’s car got hit by another. Still a fun night.

  • Kristine says:

    Hi!!

Baby #3 on the way! his would be a great stroller!
    : ) K

  • Liz says:

I didn’t attend my prom, but I did go to prom a year older with the man who would become my son’s father years later. :)

  • Lindsay says:

Love this give away. Went to prom with a friend and in true clutz fashion spilled my dinner on my dress :) Still had a blast though

  • Keri R says:

I attended prom with someone my dad made me ask. He didn’t want me to go alone. I would have had more fun with the girls.

  • Jenifer Lorentz says:

Prom sucked! I hope my daughters is WAY better!

  • Heather says:

I went to my senior prom with my best friends and my boyfriend and I snuck out to make out and got locked out. We had to get our friends to sneak us back in. We spent the rest of the night boxing in the bouncy tent. It was fun!!

P.S. I WANT THIS STROLLER SO BAD!

  • Jessica says:

What a nice looking stroller! This prom is definitely better than the one I went to in high school!

  • Melissa says:

I so need to promenade in this stroller. seriously, i would wear my pearls whilst doing it, too!

  • Melissa says:

oh, and while on the subject of prom — i did not attend, even though it was on my birthday. my parents were going through a divorce and just didn’t have the money. boo!

  • Mercedes Jones says:

Never went to prom…but would LOVE this one! :D

Winning this would end all of my stroller envy! I went to my prom with an awful date. Dumb boyfriend. I still get the icks when I think of him…

  • April says:

I did go to prom…well many proms with jr. and senior ones offered at my school. Went to all of them with my high school sweetie but nothing remarkable ever happened.

  • Dagmar B says:

I’m a canuck and they don’t have proms here…at least, they didn’t in the 90′s!

  • Starla says:

Its beautiful! What a nice treat this will be for someone.

  • christine says:

I never went to prom, had no desire to!! My busband and I are expecting and would love to win this!!!

  • AmyK says:

I went to two proms…which means I have two horrible 80′s dress/hair pictures. My date at my junior prom showed up in a white tux/tains. I was so embarassed…we looked like a wedding party :)

  • Jenny says:

Due with #2 in April and desperate for a Phil and Ted’s … and as for prom, it was 2001 and I went in a midriff-baring 2 piece number in white with a glittering tulle overlay, complete with rhinestones in my hair. Brittney Spears was still red hot that year… and so was my college boyfriend who I dragged home for the occasion.

  • Catherine Mackechney says:

Baby #2 is due to arrive in late January, so this would be perfect for us! I was pretty antisocial in high school and decided that I didn’t want to spend a Saturday evening around the people I was forced to see 5 days a week. Many people told me that I would regret not attending my prom, but 12 years later I still have no regrets!

  • Jennifer says:

Went to roughly 8 proms during my high school career. Lived them all!! Can I win this stroller now? Lol!

  • Fonda sargent says:

I married my prom date, too. 15 years and 3 kids later we sure could use an awesome double stroller!

  • wendykate says:

Ugh. Prom. My junior prom date showed up with $5 and I had to pay for everything. He tried to take me “parking” after, which was a laugh. I had him take me home, and then my Dad drove me back to a party so I could hang out with my friends. My date was such a loser! Funny, he turned out to be college roommates with my brother in law, and they’re still friends. As for my senior prom, I missed that because my bf was 21 and had no interest so we just got a hotel room. Hey, at least we’re married now! ;) haha! And just found out we’re expecting, so I’d love to win this!! Thanks!

  • Julie Bergman says:

I didn’t go to prom..I decided a concert was a better use of my money =D hope I get and GL everyone!!

  • Brandy says:

My husband would be so mad if I got another stroller!

  • Amy says:

I thought I was beyond cool when I wore a slinky silver dress with matching silver high heeled high tops. Looking back, I looked like I should’ve been a part of the Jetsons.

  • Emily says:

I went to prom all 4 years. Wearing the pretty dresses was the best part. I had my first kiss after prom my freshman year… awwww…. :)

  • Lindsay says:

Went to prom with my highschool boyfriend. Nothing exciting unfortunately! Pretty average :)

  • lexi says:

Due Feb. 10th with # 3!!! This stroller would be a big help!

  • Nisha Panchal says:

I did! It was on a boat.

  • Sarah Stone says:

Stroller looks awesome!! Looking forward to baby #2 so I can warrant a stroller like this :) Here’s hoping I win it…

  • Summer says:

Ah, prom. It was a nightmare! I went with a boy from another school and during dinner he exhibited every caveman-like manner possible (waving his steak-knife around while he talked with his hands, splattering me and my tablemates with food and talked with his mouth full, etc.). At the dance he flat out refused to dance because he didn’t know anyone and felt uncomfortable. When he came in for a goodnight kiss he was denied!

This prom, however, would be so, so awesome. It’d definitely not act like a caveman!

  • Sarah says:

I was actually banned from attending my senior class prom. I skipped my senior year of high school and started college early. My hs principal wasn’t pleased I went over his head to get permission to do so, and banned me from prom and walking at graduation, though I did get a diploma.

    This stroller looks awesome!

  • Oatsnbaurle says:

I did attend my prom. I went to senior prom with my now husband! I don’t really remember much about it though, I guess it must have been pretty boring, lol :)

  • Katy Allgood says:

Oo. Didn’t go to prom but this would be better!

  • Nichole A says:

Went to prom with my boyfriend at the time. We had a great time and went to the shore the next day. I would love love love to win this stroller!!!

  • Grace Burnham d says:

Just sorted scanned and filed all my prom photos yesterday

  • Amanda says:

    Oh I love this blog!

  • Amanda says:

I went to mine in a $50 dress from the clearance section and no date. Still had the best time of my life!

  • What an excellent giveaway! I usually wear my little girl, but I know it will become more difficult once she gets heavier.

As far as prom goes, I did not attend mine. I had met my now husband online, and he lived in Ontario and I was in New Jersey. So, I did not want to attend prom without him :D

  • Katy Cairo says:

I love Phil and Ted strollers. They are so sturdy and sleek at the same time. Would absolutely love to have this at my house!!

  • Rebecca says:

Went to prom – it was mediocre… no stories, positive or negative…

  • Angelica says:

This is the most awesome stroller!

I went to my prom. My boyfriend came from overseas. Definitely wasn’t the love of my life. Ruined my prom for me, he spent the entire night drinking and left me alone by myself. But at least I looked pretty :) And it was my first time in a limo! :D

  • Denise says:

I hope I win so I can check it out! I went to 2 proms with the same guy and they were both terrible. He was a foot shorter than me and my hair was a wreck. I spent the entire night trying to dodge his lips! BLAH! But this prom looks like lots of fun! <3

  • marni says:

I would love to win this stroller!!

  • Sarah Helms says:

I never went to prom, but I would adore this stroller!

  • Rachel Marshall says:

I actually didn’t attend my prom!

  • Amy says:

I didn’t attend a prom in high school because I was homeschooled! :P

  • a. bacon says:

Prom… wow, that was about ten years ago! Sorry, no funny stories. I really wish I had some wonderful, laugh-from-the-belly-story for you… I am sooo glad that I did NOT end up marrying my prom date, though! I found the love of my life later on studying graphic/web design in art school. (We’ve been together for 10 yrs next year!!) So, since my husband and I are both “starving artists” and just gave birth to bambino number 3, we would absolutely LOVE to win this!! You should see the state of our dear stroller after being through 2 wild kiddos already… ok, sorry to write a book and if I overshared too much… I’ll just shut up now… lol (btw I LOVE your blog!!)

  • Crystal M says:

I’ve heard so many good things about these strollers. I’d love to try one.

  • Karla says:

As a homeschooled student it wouldn’t have been very fun having a prom- as I was the only student. ;-)

  • Annie says:

I went to senior prom w. my sister and junior prom w. my gay buddy. Best. Dates. Ever.

  • Amanda says:

My dress got tucked into the back of my tights…..you’d think someone would have told me :)

  • Melissa says:

My prom date and I are married with children. Boy we’d love this stroller.

  • Aimee says:

I would LOVE to win this. I have 2 boys and have been researching doubles and have been looking into Phil & Teds but also a few other brands….just hadn’t decided yet.
I did go to both my proms…. for junior prom I just started dating my boyfriend just before (who btw, is now my husband 16 years later… 7 of those married) but had already agreed to go to prom with a good guy friend. As the weeks came closer to the prom, I wanted so badly to go with my boyfriend who I knew back then was the love of my life, but I still went with my friend, as I didn’t want to leave him in the lurch without a date. Sr. prom was the best, as I went with my boyfriend and we had an amazing time.

  • Heather says:

I went to private school, so our “proms” were banquets. Kind of cheesy. Mine were fortunately uneventful. :)

  • Lindsay Corbin says:

I went to a few proms…all were ok, nothing particularly good, bad or memorable!

  • Lauren says:

    Looks like an awesome stroller

  • Monica says:

Wow, this is a very cool stroller! It would be awesome to have a double as we’ll be needing it soon. :)

No prom for me. Decided to leave high school and all that drama and homeschool instead. I didn’t like main stream music and the thought of going to a dance and spending all that money seemed so silly. Sometimes now I wish I would have but I don’t think in the end it would have changed anything.

    Thanks for the great giveaway!

  • Nerissa says:

Didn’t have Prom, just a Grad party. Still wore the fancy dress. Went to a house party. Lots of fun! This stoller would be even better!!

  • I am pregnant with baby #2 and am in the market for a P &T’s. I wonder if I can wait until this one comes out… Thanks for sharing your review!

  • Katy says:

This sounds awesome! I’ll be needing a double in a few months!

Oh and my prom was so lame we left early.

  • Marie says:

I, actually, did not attend prom. I wasn’t much into the high school scene and was ready to move away for college. Which I did… with the love of my life.. and we now have a 12mo old that would love this stroller!

  • Jessa Minnet says:

I attended, untrue to my “form.” My dress was a horrible white lacy “Cindy Lauper wedding dress,” my date was the boy I thought I was madly in love with until I saw rib sauce on his tux, and we went back to my house only to hear my mother drinking and dialing and reveal that I had a different father than my sister. It was AWESOME!

  • Tory Patrick says:

I went to prom my senior year. Our limo got a flat tire on the way to the prom. Everything was downhill from there…

  • mandy says:

I would love to win this stroller! Sounds like a great stroller.

  • Denise says:

I hope I win this!!!! I went to two proms and they both stunk, this will make up for that :)

  • Jamie says:

I went to my husband’s prom but didn’t marry him until 16 years later… almost to the day… after we both spent those years starting businesses and careers that we continue in today.

  • Christina says:

no I never had a chance to attend prom. I ended up graduating from an adult school at 21. I had my
First baby at 17 and now I’m 23 expecting my 3rd very soon :)

  • Alex says:

Attended Prom 2 years in a row! Had way too much fun the first time around!!

    Expecting Clara Feb 15th!

  • Katy Allgood says:

Didn’t go to prom. This would be much better though.

  • Heather F says:

Lol, I went to Prom four times! My parents were so tired of taking pictures by the time I graduated high school! :)

  • Summer says:

Yes, I went to prom, not as fun as it could of been. I would of loved to go with my husband but we were not together then.

  • yes, i did…it was fun! can’t believe that was 12 or so years ago…lord!

  • Angela says:

I went to Prom with my (now) husband we had a good time!

  • Addie Imseis says:

Clearly the best double stroller. The lovely thing is when you have three you can wear the baby and stroll the other two.

  • Tiffany S says:

No Prom for me!!! But I’d love to celebrate the “prom” with this new stroller!!!

  • Traci says:

I didn’t go to my prom. I went to private school and there weren’t too many boys…10 to be exact. It just seemed like a waste of time and money. Now, this “Prom” stroller seems awesome. I only wish I had the money to spend on it!

  • Melissa says:

I did not go to my prom, I had the measles, at 17. I was the first case in Illinois that year and one of only 16 people total. Nice timing, huh? I was devastated. I had made my prom dress myself, it took months to make and I never even got to wear it. Great giveaway! Thank you!

  • Emily says:

My senior year we almost didn’t get a prom. The guy I was taking was a family friend who went to school in a nearby district. He was in class one day when he overheard another kid say he was going to our prom and bringing a gun. My date told me, I reported it to the principal and then he involved the police. After many headaches and days of worrying, we found out that there was going to be a prom afterall. We just had to have undercover police officers from three different cities in attendance! All in all, it was a great prom.

  • Lorraine Marie Deichert says:

I sure did go to my prom…with quite possibly the creepiest prom date ever :(

  • Kathryn Van Ryn says:

I went once with my best friend and now son’s godfather and once with my now hubby. :) Oh prom….!!!

  • Lisa S. says:

I would love a chance to win this stroller! I( went to my senior prom with a broken ankle, but actually danced on my cast enough that I cracked it and had to get a new one!

  • Clarky says:

This stroller looks ah-may-zing!!! I had a prom where my hair piece fell out and some other stories that are not appropriate for a website about children :) . I hope I win! This is the beat website evah!!!!

  • Josie says:

I wore a cowboy hat that matched my dress so I didn’t have to do my hair!

  • sarah says:

I was that lame home-schooled kid. So I didn’t have have a prom. Instead I was planning a wedding. Much better in my opinion. :)

  • De-Lila Gonzales says:

    Love love love.

  • Lane Gulotta says:

I’m so glad my high school prom is over with … I never want to relive that again, especially the dress!

  • Jessica Savage says:

Hey! Great giveaway!! Yes I did, no awesome stories, sorry!

  • Cyndi B says:

    This looks fab!

I must win it! My husband would be so happy if I didn’t buy it… I have a slight stroller obsession, he calls me a stroller whore. :) Ha!!

    Thanks!!
    Melissa

  • Lindsey K says:

I didn’t go to prom with my husband, but we have pictures of the two of together on Prom night. Funny to look back on now!

I went to my high school prom, had so much fun with my classmates that night!

  • Danielle S. says:

I went to prom but no crazy stories to tell…I would love to win this stroller though :)

  • monica says:

Don’t even remember that much about prom night! No one in my school cared about it…so even though I was elected prom queen, believe me… no one gave a hoot about it!

  • Sarah says:

Yay in lines. How’s your sister doing?

I went to my senior prom with my girlfriends because my boyfriend’s parents didn’t like me and he didn’t want to disobey them (whomp whomp). But we did get to ride in my friend’s pretty, pretty mustang!

  • Cheri says:

I attended both Junior and Senior prom but I don’t have any exciting stories to tell about them!

  • Kristen says:

I went to both of my proms. I had a blind date for my junior prom–and I paid for his ticket! I’m not even sure how I ended up getting set up with him, but it definitely was not a match made in heave. My senior prom, I went with a friend and had a much better time.

  • Caree says:

I went to prom with my boyfriend. We were having issues and probably should have just broken things off. LOL We went anyway since we had bought the tickets and stuff. We ended up driving in his dad’s car behind the limo with his friends in it. I guess he was too late with his money to be part of the crowd in the limo. We pretty much didn’t talk the whole night. Dinner took up most the night and when we got to the prom we were there maybe 30 minutes before going to a party at a friends house. I lasted about an hour there before I made him take me home. We broke up officially a week later. :)

  • Jennifer I says:

I went to prom my sophomore year with a senior (scandalous) we were both so broke we are at burger king in all our prom finery before the dance. My favorite picture from that night is us in our BK crowns.

  • Ashley Warren says:

    I went to prom twice!

  • Vashti M says:

I went to my prom with my gay ‘boyfriend’ and we had a blast. I wore a vintage yellow dress and he wore a navy blue captains style jacket. I wasn’t planned but we looked EXACTLY like beauty & the beast-it was so cute!

  • I didn’t go to my prom because my boyfriend’s cunty mother wouldn’t extend his curfew so we could actually attend the whole thing.

  • jo says:

  • Katy says:

Maybe is mommy brain- maybe its 12 years ago- but I can’t even remember my dates name…

  • Emily D says:

Yes, I went to the prom but literally last minute – my teachers let me leave school early to get a dress for the prom which was that night!!! My “boyfriend” at the time was too cool for prom and at last minute a friend and I decided to go!!!

  • Amanda Alvarado says:

I went to my prom solo but had a guy I had met a couple of weeks earlier show up (he was in college). He wasn’t the love of my life though…had to wait over 10 more years to find that man! :-)

  • Limor Klieinman says:

Hi, I would love to win this for my cute kid and the baby that is on the way…! what do I need to do?

  • Jasmine says:

    Hello,
now you’ve had this stroller some time. No complaints? I tried this stroller in a shop, I must say it looks cheaper that in their ad. For example the wheels don’t look very innovative. The front wheel suspension seems to be a design choice more than functional. The wheel doesn’t absorb any shock. It doesn’t move and doesn’t have where to move in any case. it’s fixed.
The aluminium expandable handle makes a constant noise when pushed, like the 2 parts don’t fit perfectly and there is free space so the handle does *tic tac* all the time u push.
Except that the rest looks great, the quality of the seats is fantastic, the manouvrability as well, the bassinet being able to convert, the storage space excellent.
However it is unclear to me how much shock absorbant those wheels are.
