Review: Nuna Zaaz High Chair
Alright. Let’s get it on. High chairs. There are MANY on the market, and the bulk of them seem to be giant plastic seats that take up your floor space and are hard to clean. That’s where the Nuna Zaaz comes in….and you’ll be thankful for it.
I saw the Nuna Zaaz while in New Zealand, and when I found out the company was finally going to be peddling their wares here in the USA, I was so excited to get to play with this chair a bit more. Now I am excited for everyone to have the chance to buy it.
First thing that matters: is it easy to clean? YES. Yes it is. Featuring a foam pad with no seams or creases, the seat is incredibly easy to wipe-down as well as being comfortable for your little muncher. The tray is dishwasher-safe (and will actually fit in the dishwasher and not take all the space), and can detach for eating directly at the table. The 5-point-harness is also easy to pop out to clean using a plastic “key” located on the back of the chair–you simply push it in the slots where the harnesses are secured and the straps pop out. This also allows for easy conversion of the harness from a 5-pt to a 3-pt.
The Nuna Zaaz is also height-adjustable, and uses a lever in the footrest to adjust. Speaking of adjusting, it is truly a chair that grows with your child. Six months-220 pounds. That’s a LOT of bang for your buck.

My son currently likes to put bannanas in interesting places. So that would be the favorite right now. As much as I clean them up I always seem to miss one!

I don’t have ONE favorite food, I have many.
I will share two of my most favorite foods that I tried abroad. In Nuremberg, Germany, in the market, we bought some eggplant and feta dip, and they gave a loaf of bread to eat it with. I had never tried eggplant and this dip was awesome. My husband who hates almost all vegetables, loved it. The second thing, I don’t remember what it was called, but it was a lot of thin layers of dough formed into a ball, and covered with chocolate, powdered sugar or cinnamon powdered sugar, (I think that there might have been more, but those are the ones we tried. We found these in Rothensburg, Germany.

My favorite food is chicken tortilla soup from the Blue Goose in Dallas, TX. After moving to Montana, I am in serious withdrawls. I eat there every day for lunch when I go home to visit. If you’re ever in Dallas, definitely try it out! My son’s favorite food is pureed pears, but someday he too will know the glory of the Blue Goose.

Very interesting high chair! I currently have the stokke and am worried about when my baby does start eating solids that it may be a little bit of a pain to clean (with the infant attachment). This high chair seems like one of the easier to clean ones I’ve seen. Very cool!
My favorite food is anything and everything Mexican. And, what’s great about Mexican in our house is that our 21mo old daughter loves Mexican food too. Would be awesome to win this chair for our baby daughter so she doesn’t have to share a chair with her sister!
