Car Seat Safety with Britax
Well, it’s Hump Day here at the Gear Guide during Child Passenger Safety Week. We’ve covered a lot of ground, and still have more to cover. Today I’ve chosen to do a general car seat safety video with a few tips, using the new Britax Pavilion 70-3G convertible car seat. I’m not going to write a gigantic post, so make sure you watch the video….
And I was SERIOUS when I said I wasn’t going to write a gigantic post….this is it. I’m using it as an experiment

Boulevard 70-G3
My almost 3.5 year old is nearing the weight limits of my Classic Marathon. I really want one that will allow us to rear face another 5-10 lbs!
I could use their Harness 2 Booster since my older son is right at the weight limit for transferring to a booster. I am keeping him in a 5 point harness as long as possible, but this would give him much more room than what we currently have.
Very interested in the Advocate 70-G3 for our 14mo babe, but not sure it’d actually fit with the other two seats we lug around, making the Pavillion 70-G3 an equally appealing option.
We have a Boulevard right now for my daughter and love it, and we have to buy another convertible for my HUGE 3 month old, so I’d go with another Boulevard!
A convertible carseat would be great. I really like the Boulevard 70-G3

I’m totally impressed that the Frontier and Parkway seats can fit me personally. I mean I’m right at 63 inches, so I’m barely squeakin’ in there.
My seven year old needs a Frontier. I’m just not ready to have him out of a harness yet.

In the market for a convertible seat. I am debating between the Boulevard 70-G3 and the Pavilion 70-G3.
I have had an old school Boulevard, a Frontier 85, a Parkway SG and an Advocate 70 CS. I ADORE Britax seats, and need a new Parkway to replace the old one a pizza kid trashed when he hit our car!

I find it strange that people think its weird I have him rear facing still. I agree with Jamie. I would rather him be safe than care what other people are doing. Weight and Height not age are most important.

We have a 9-month old and a 4-year old, both in convertible seats and only 2 convertible seats. We have purchased another yet because I haven’t been able to decide which one I want since they released the new line. I would want one that goes upto at least 70 pounds…

We’re expecting baby number 3 in March and our convertible seat is going to expire in 2013. I love the Boulevard 70 G3! We currently have a Boulevard but with a lower rf limit and I love that this new seat would give the baby even more time to RF.
The Britax ADVOCATE 70-G3 would be perfect for my baby boy.

I need the 70-3G! Your video was great. I did not know all the great features Britax has to offer. The “honey comb” effect is awesome. I’m thrilled with all the safety features.
We love our Britax Chaperone Infant seat. We will surely be getting a Britax convertible seat when the time comes.

My 10 month old is getting ready to grow out of her infant car seat. I was hoping to transfer my four year old to a booster seat, and then move my 10 month old to the convertible. Long story short, my 4 year old does not weigh enough for a booster. I am in need of another convertible. The Pavilion 70-G3 totally fits with all of my needs.

I need a convertible seat for my little one. She is about ready to outgrow her infant seat and this would save us a ton of money. We would rear face her until she outgrew the RF limits of the seat.

I learned my lesson with my first child. The seats I chose were good, but it seems like my son constantly outgrew them and were now on our THIRD SET of seats!
This time I think we are getting the Bob-B safe for our main car so have an infant carrier, and the Marathon Classic for our secondary vehicle which will last us longer.
I need a convertable car seat. Would love the Pavilion.

We need a pavilion G3 or a frontier85…I would LOVE for Britax to update their combination booster..they just do not compare to the new G3 seats and I feel as though my oldest child isn’t getting all she did before she had to move out of her boulevard
