Come On And Take A Free Ride!!!
Well, it seems we’ve another stroller to take a gander at today. And look out, all of you fancy European strollers, for a brand that has established itself in the space as a contender of quality has released a terrific new option:
Based on their original Indie stroller, the Natural is a great new alternative for parents wanting a “greener” option in stroller upholstery. The seating surfaces are made of 50% bamboo, which is incredibly breathable, wicks moisture away and is anti-bacterial. I know that bamboo can cause a stink amongst those in the eco-movement due to the processing involved turning it from cane to a fiber you can actually sew with, BUT as a basic source, bamboo is incredibly sustainable. Hopefully, one day there will be better methods to make the whole process more eco-friendly. The canopy on the Bumbleride Natural, as well as all exterior fabrics, are made from 50% recycled materials, which is another terrific feature. I know what you’re all thinking: “Does Jamie like it?”
Yes. Yes. I. Do.
The Indie gives you terrific maneuverability and one-handed steering due to the combination of a height-adjustable handle and 3 12-inch air-filled tires. That being said, I do wish this stroller came with an air pump, but finding one is a small price to pay. The Indie is incredibly smooth, and took the terrain of NYC sidewalks and parks with ease. The seat has a wonderful recline that is nearly flat, and is easily adjusted with a strap mechanism to infinite positions between reclined and upright. The GIGANTIC canopy has a peek-a-boo window AND is UVF-45—KICK ASS!!! The leg rest is easily adjustable (a HUGE plus) and allows for lanky kids to sit comfortably due to its low-profile foot support (this allows kids to stick their legs out, instead of keeping them bent, which can mean knees-in-face-effect for tall kids). The fold is quite easy, although not one-handed, and the chassis-lock is manual, but you cannot win them all. Take the wheels off, and it’s VERY compact for a stroller of this class. The rain shield is a separate purchase, but it’s not PVC, which is GLORIOUS!!! The belly bar is included, and Bumbleride has great accessories—including a wonderful Snack Pack that snaps onto the frame that acts as an organizer tray for your wee one. Storage is also wonderful for parents, because the undercarriage basket is huge and easily-accessible. Also included is a Universal Car Seat Strap that makes this a great travel system that works with Graco (Snugride, 32,35), Peg Perego, Chicco Keyfit 30, Combi Shuttle, Baby Trend Flex Loc, and Britax Chaperone car seats. If you’re interested in a Maxi Cosi—OR CYBEX ATON—you can use an option Maxi Cosi adapter. In the car seat department, your bases are covered. ***(UPDATE: Bumbleride doesn’t recommend using the Aton on the Car Seat Adapter Bar–the Maxi Cosi Adapter is different)***

My grandparents used to take me on summer vacations in the German Alps. I would love to do the same thing after I had my fist child in November. Of course we won’t be able to go there as often since we live in the states but I can’t wait to show the Alps to my husband and my dear daughter once she is born. And lol, yes you could come along too. Take the kids and the wife and we make it a big family vacation. I’m certain you’ll love it.
I can’t wait to take our son to New Zealand!! Even before he was born we have been dreaming of the day when we can take him there with us!
I would go definitely take this stroller the next time we go to DISNEY! A good stroller is invaluable at that place.

We actually are going on vacation soon to the Outer Banks in NC! It is absolutely beautiful there! We will be staying in a beach house with friends and family who will be meeting our little one for the first time!! Of course you’re invited!!

I would take a staycation in San Diego. If money were no object, I would rent a home in Coronado where I could walk to the beach each day and ride my bike around the island (you’re invited to join me).

I would love to say Rome or Spain but those I’ll save to go one without my kids. More likely Israel or Texas or Georgia to visit relatives, or a Disney Cruise if I won the lottery (did you ever see the prices of those??). We have never had a “real” family vacation, unless you count the trips to visit the in-laws…which is NOT a vacation, let me tell you! lol So you’re not invited on that particular trip, it would make you hate me. I want to go somewhere with mountains, and lots of stuff for the kids to do. Fill in the blanks. I don’t care, just somewhere that is NOT here!

We’ve got a baby due in mid-September and are moving to Vienna, Austria. The maneuverability of the Bumbleride Indie Natural will be key in small European streets and shops. And the 12in air filled tires will smooth out the ride for baby as we walk over the cobblestone roads and walkways. The large undercarriage storage is KEY – as we are living right downtown (district one) w/o a car; so I’ll be grocery shopping daily and have to get the food home somehow! Jamie: if we win this stroller and you visit us in Vienna, we can take the stroller out together (for an in-situ test ride) and after doing the grocery shopping, you can come over for cocktails and dinner! How about 8:00?

After 3 hours of exhausting shopping for the perfect stroller for our first little bundle of joy on the way, my hubby and I were shown the BumbleRide stroller. We instantly fell in love with it! I would go to Greece to visit family and use this stroller around the beach areas, bumpy hilly streets of Athens around the Acropolis and flat areas with really awful sidewalks in the suburbs. Little Thalia would sleep through it all in this great stroller. You can come and get a personal tour of the entire city as I lived there for 5 years..
I am entering in hopes of winning this for my brother and sister in law they are expecting their first in December. A baby girl they are going to name Stella. I was never blessed with children of my own and Stella will be making me am Auntie for only the second time in 22 years. My other niece Samantha is my older brothers only child. We have a small family.
I am not sure if they have any vacation plans any time soon but I do know the take little road trips on weekends.

I’d take the kids to Catalina Island off the coast of LA. We’d rent a house for a week and take the kids hiking, explore the old casino, and visit the Wrigley Mansion. Mostly just be lazy though. Of course you could come, although we might ask you to babysit for an evening

As far as the vacation is concerned; I think my partner and I would take our nursling to visit my family. This is in small town, Connecticut – and I’m sure not that exciting to most people (especially those that would take you and their families to European countries or Disney World). However, I would want our child to meet my family – being raised by my Grandparents, they’re getting to be quite older folk and I would want them to meet our daughter (and their first great-grandchild!). You’re welcome to come, there is amazing hiking (which the Bumbleride would be perfect for); beaches, amusement parks, and so much more! It would be our first vacation and having a stroller like this (which we couldn’t afford otherwise) would be an amazing opportunity.

I would take my baby girl back to the Martha’s Vineyard. We would go for jogs, admire the lighthouses and cliffs and stroll the quaint streets, stopping for a few cocktails along the way of course. She would look adorable in the bumbleride! Of course I would invite you! The more the merrier…
I would take my baby girl to France. I am more than confident that the Indie can concur the streets of Paris. Then we would take the train to the countryside and enjoy runs along the sea. Would you like your confirmation in email or paper form?
I have an Indie Twin for my 3 yr old and 5 mo old and I LOVE it! I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have a single Indie for when my older son is out and about and I only have the baby with me! After using a Bumbleride stroller, I’m spoiled for all others. My dad calls it my NASA stroller because the engineering and craftsmanship are 2nd to none.
Well, we would head back to Disneyland for starters, and our trips to the beach! We would head to Washington DC to visit my husband’s family with it, and also on down to North Carolina to visit my family. We would walk the WHOLE WAY just to use our stroller!
(We will walk on the plane with it, does that count?

I’d like to go to New York to see my family. The Indie would be great for walking through the orchard, and maybe going down to the lake. Of course I’d like to take my parents and my sister’s family so we can have a real family reunion.
I would take my little guy to Avalon, NJ. Cruise to the beach, boardwalks and the parks. And of course you are invited!
I would take on my walks on the river trail every day. And of course, when we finally get away for vacation after #4 is born in November, everywhere we go.

We are always on the go! In February we took our 2 girls to Eleuthera. We go to the Outer Banks every year and next year we will also go to Disney, only we will have 3 kids by then! You can come along on any of our adventures.

If I won this stroller I would definitely make the most out of what a Bumbleride can do! My husband and I love upstate NY (we live in the city) so and ideal trip would involve time away from all the hustle and bustle. A weekend in the Adirondacks, a cabin, visit a vineyard for a wine tasting, walk some scenic trails, meander through a few historic sites… whatever we choose I know the stroller will handle it. And YES, PLEASE JOIN US if you enjoy the simpler luxury and a super active 13 month old

Well we are military and just moved to Tampa FL. Our little umprella stroller isn’t cutting it on the beach so I would defiently take it to the beach!! Heard it works great there!

Right now our vacation dream is Disneyland. Nothin fancy just fun! Ride all off the rides, see the new water and light show. My five year old is dying to meet her favorite princesses. Baby Olive at 10 months just wants a Flier to be pushed around in during our stay at the Happiest Place On Earth!!
